Take control of your subscriptions
Suboptima is a subscription tracker. See every renewal and your real monthly and yearly spend, get an email before you're charged, and find what to cancel — in one calm dashboard.

Frequently asked questions
What is Suboptima?
Suboptima is a free subscription tracker. You add the services you pay for, such as streaming, AI tools, software and cloud storage, and it shows what you spend each month and year, when each one renews, which card pays for it, and where you could save.
What is the best free way to track subscriptions?
Keep one list with every subscription's price, billing cycle and next renewal date, and get a reminder before each charge. Suboptima does this for free: add each service once and it totals your monthly and yearly spend, shows what renews next and emails you before you're charged.
How do I track all my subscriptions in one place?
Add each subscription with its price, billing cycle (monthly or yearly), renewal date and category. Popular services like Netflix, Spotify and ChatGPT Plus can be added in one tap. Suboptima totals everything, lists what renews in the next 30 days, breaks your spend down by category and by card, and moves each renewal date forward automatically after it renews.
Will Suboptima remind me before a subscription renews?
Yes. Suboptima emails you 7, 3 and 1 days before each renewal (you can change the days or turn emails off in Settings), so you have time to cancel or change it. If you saved the service's cancel link, cancelling is one click away.
How do I cancel a subscription I no longer use?
Cancel it with the service itself, then archive it in Suboptima so it leaves your totals and reminders. Save each service's cancel page when you add it, and Suboptima puts an Open cancel page button on the subscription so you can get there in one click.
Can I see which card each subscription is charged to?
Yes. When you add a subscription you can note how it's paid, such as Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, plus the card's last 4 digits. The overview then shows your monthly spend per card. Suboptima never asks for a full card number.
Does Suboptima connect to my bank account or email?
No. You add your subscriptions yourself, so nothing needs access to your bank or inbox. To see which card pays for what, you can note the card type and its last 4 digits; Suboptima never asks for a full card number. Automatic import is on the roadmap, not available yet.
Is Suboptima free?
Yes. Suboptima is free to use during the beta, and no credit card is required.
Which currencies does Suboptima support?
More than 150 currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, INR, PKR, AED and SAR. Each subscription keeps its own currency and totals are never mixed, so €45 and £12.99 are shown separately instead of being added together. You can set a default currency in Settings.
Is there a Suboptima app for iPhone or Android?
Yes. Suboptima can be added to your home screen on iPhone (Safari: Share, then Add to Home Screen) and Android (Chrome: Install). It opens full-screen like an app, with no app store needed and no download fee.
How does the AI advisor work?
The advisor reads the details you entered, such as names, prices, billing cycles, renewal dates, categories and your notes, and suggests specific ways to save, like a service you noted you barely use or two services that do the same job, with the amount each would save. You can also chat with it. It uses Google Gemini and never receives your email address or password.
Can I try Suboptima without signing up?
Yes. Choose Continue as guest to try it without an account. Guest data is temporary, so create an account if you want to keep your list.
Is my data private, and can I delete it?
Your subscriptions are only visible to your own account. You can export them as a CSV at any time and permanently delete your account and all its data from Settings. We don't sell your data.
